A Asser: (pronounced: assa)
A derogatory term used by whiners when they think they should be allowed to run right past you without getting shot:
'get off my ass' - 'damn asser, play ctf noob' B C "Chaser"/ "chasing"(pronounced: assa)
A derogatory term for players that follow one person regardless of the situation (eg: whether they have the flag or not or is strategic to do so.) Most often used when someone is attacking a base runs by the opposing team and the opposing team turns around and relentlessly follows the attacker regardless of the situation or other factors.
commonly heard in game in context of: "
Stop chasing me you, n00b!"
Its also a bit controversial term as there seem to be as players who hate "chasers" as there that seem to think the term is ridiculous and used as an excuse for getting killed or by arrogant whiners as there technically isn't anything wrong with following the opponent with intent to kill .
D E L L33T (alt. LEET, L337, LEE7 or anyother variation).
pronounced: "leet", or "ee-leet" or "el - leet"
originally a term used by hackers as accolades for a someone that was recognized as very skilled even among peers....ie: "Elite" programmer. or like a "professional". The letters for the word "elite" were interchanged for numbers or other specialized characters. Changing letters as such was a way for hackers to communicate with eachother know as "leet speak" so that words could not be easily recognized by text reading computers scripts and/or to indicate a different form of language and typing apart for the "normal" netizens and computer users. It has since be readily adapted by gamers as a way to distinguish or stylize their online ids.
leet speak N n00b: (pronounced: noob or "newb" or "newbee"). It is often spelled with zeros instead of "oh"s. ie: "n00b", instead of "noob". Term used to refer to a beginner or first-timer to an activity, usually in a derogatory term. "n00b" is the gamers' version of the nasty four letter word.
