That's not what you wrote ie: you didn't answer the question asked so of course I don't know how you are referring to "its spam".

and that exactly what I wrote about.. I said in my post, I know that its easy to forge where it was sent from.


I was asking if there are other possible ways that that could actually mean my email was compromised.

I looked into other sources, it doesn't seem so. I've been using the email.

If it was spam made to look like it was sent from your email which means it was not sent from your account then how can your email account be compromised?

Im confused how the answer wasn't obvious?

I thought THAT was obvious.

AGAIN, as it was email sent TO me REGARDING spam I sent FROM me and to an address that is similar to mine but not exact (but later found was routed to me.)

is there sometime OBVIOUS in that scenario?

I suspected it was just spam made to look like it came from me... in which case, as stated, it would be fine.

but perhaps there was something I was missing... hence teh question.

is that good enough reason to ask? sheesh.
