Email notifications (thread subscriptions)

Well, everytime one posts in a topic here, I get a notification in my email inbox about it. It ain't realy fun to find a few thousand spam emails every week...

I've tried everything I can to get rid of it. Those links in emails don't realy help...

So how do I get rid of the notifications? And no, I don't want to click a button for every thread that appears!

here is the FAQ on thread subscriptions.


** To UNSUBSCRIBE (stop receiving emails) from current threads go to:
USER CP > and look at all your subcribed threads(New Subscribed Threads)
(you can individually decide what with the email notifications for each of the threads)

** To change the DEFAULT email notification settings (ie: subscriptions) for threads go to:
User cp > edit options > Default Thread Subscription Mode >> change that to whatever you want and it will follow that rule in the future


Another extra tip: you can keep certain forums (like news) from appearing in "new threads" waaay end of the in the User CP > Edit options > Exclude Forums from "Get New Posts" section
