Like the title? I figured it would get someone's attention.

Well, we need ideas to up the activity, and maybe keep that activity going for once. Im afraid Tey strip dancing wasn't a good idea. AT ALL.

So, if anyone has any ideas for events, post them here.

I'll make first contribution. A forum wide scavanger hunt. Basically, one searches for hidden clues.

What would this hunt be on? like clues to figure out a game?

How about some content of sorts. Id prefer it not to be Inferno as that's overdone.

get rid of the shoutbox, its loved but thats where everyone goes when the come to the forum

Personally, Id like to keep the shoutbox. Yes, people do go there a lot but a lot of others also go for Inferno. Does that mean we should remove that or what about the arcade? The shoutbox does bring in some activity, even if it's only a small bit.

As for that section, you could probably set up a thread about it in the noobie nation if there isn't already one.

The main competition between forums is a delicate thing. One forum may have on feature, while another has something completely different. One thing is for sure: If you have no commune, then you have nothing. Fortunately, we have chat rooms and shoutboxes that amplify member interaction. The shoutbox really needs to stay.

As for your scavenger hunt, I think that's a brilliant idea. Only, that would work if we had a bigger community or more interested members.

However, Teyron has been brainstorming over some new ideas to increase population. Nothing's in stone at this juncture, but we are working on it. But Arion had an awesome idea. Keep them coming.

i did come looking for an rpg inferno, but i also came to look for something i could be active in.

otherwise,
if you wanted the forum [as in posting] to be more active, you must get rid of the shout box, because people just post there

i dont know any other ways to get people here. maybe a new layout or something. something different and knew.

An Idea i Seen on a site not to long ago was a points and buy scheme.

What I mean is you could give a set amount of points for a post say 50 per post and then you could let members use those point to buy downloadable content from the site for example Songs , Wallpapers ar anything else you can think of.

Or better still is run compitions each month or so for a praize like a book or a game or what not.
