Well, I'll point out some things that bother me a bit.

You know those blue markings that indicate new posts in a tread / topic? They don't go away after I check the topics.
Even if I make a new post or a new thread, there will be an indication that there are new posts inside, which is kinda weird =/
I don't know how many people get this problem, but it's not IE or FF bound because I've now gotten the same problem on 3 different PC's and a laptop, two different browsers and at least 3 different IPs.

If that could be fixed, it'd be great.

Second thing that bothers me a lot are sub forums. Although they make the whole site more organized and all, it's sometimes VERY difficult to keep track of what topics you've already looked at and if you're trying to find something... sometimes you just have more things to check out.
Honestly, I'm not a big fan of sub forums. And I've spoken to some other people who think the same thing.

Third thing... the whole site is PACKED with features. To the point where it looks intimidating, actually... =/
There are at least a billion features that I don't use. I can't speak for all other people... but I'd have a hard time imagining that everyone around here uses everything. I know it's gonna be very hard on GK but maybe reducing somethings would be better...
Maybe have people write up features they don't use... or if shorter, they do use.

The loading times for the website are unlike any other forum I'm on (not just in UT community, any forum - vBulletin forums included).

Now... I didn't want to start any flames in the other thread flu locked. I have to apologize because I have only read a first few posts in it. Though I have noticed that, just like on other UT forums, activity is dropping. Like GK pointed out, school, work and other stuff is keeping us away... but, there is also the other factor... the amount of people that participate in the forums is dropping.

But with the upcoming release of UT3, we could change that. With all the work that's been placed into this website, it has a big advantage over other websites. I once talked to one of the admins on other forum and his statement was: "Damn TSU has a good site! Where can I get all those add ons?"

I don't know, but hopefully UA / TSU / VDSA will host a UT3 server. That would open up a possibility for a huge advertising campaign. GK pwns google with ratings.

All we need to do is get more people here. Activity on the site goes up exponentially with the number of people active on the site.

YES, we will have a UT3 server.... not only that..it will kickass EXCLUSIVE blazing fast one. .. might even do 2.

that alone will kick this up around here big time.


also I'm going to give this place a skin face lift and cull out a lot of stuff to help with optimization in the process.

whooo hoooo at UT3 server would be great! I have played the demo and can't wait!!

I like how the site is. A new look is always refreshing so that would be nice to see. I know GK works damn hard on the site and it does show.

The only thing I really don't like is those news posts, it really hides the real posts from real people. I know I can turn those off in options and have tried but some still show anyway. I am sure that this might deter some new people from being active.....just imo

Other than that, I think this place rocks!

We are just waiting for UT3 to release a windows server version. Then they will be up.

The main thing that bugs me is that threads don't decay so that means you have threads here from last year which no body is posting in or even viewing.

Just needs a general clean up in my option and a possible decay timer on old threads that don't get an new views or posts.

E: Also the front page could do with a clean because it just seems over packed. Remember when people normally go to a site it will be the front page that they see first, so it has to draw them in and easy to use

front page is too cluttered looking.

You can have all the options and tons to do, just make the interface cleaner and more intuitive.
