Okay someone once mentioned that someone else could somehow get rid of the {TSU}News posts/ threads so that they will not show up when they search for new posts.

I definitely dont want him... He's frightfully droll.. (lol), most often I prefer not to watch the news much less read it, and he posts so much I cant find the posts by the actual people and members that I want to hear from! Please!! help me to get rid of these so that it does not show on my webpage. Thank you in advance

It should be under UserCP > Edit Options > and from there you can find an option to block certain forums you don't want to show up in the New Posts search...

HOWEVER
I just looked all over and its not there

I'm guessing it may have gotten turned off during the recent vBulletin update, which means it should be able to be turned back on... either that or it's not avalible anymmore after vBull update, which is very dobutful and would also measn you can't turn him off... damn {TSU}News

I'll see if I can fix it somehow.. but I onyl know how to do basic admin stuffs Never hurts to try... unless I break something, then I imagine it would hurt quite a bit

Yeah, I looked ALL over the user cp and everywhere else I could think of also....LOL!!! No wonder.. it is probably just an option that is currently turned off!!! Wow

I put it back.

go to USER CP >> EDIT OPTIONS >> MISCELLANEOUS section (last in the options) >> EXCLUE FORUMS from "Get New Posts"

In this case, choose Internet/Tech News forums.

Select the forums you want to exclude from new posts. For the news... exclude the click save. There ya go!! no more News in the new posts.
