The doctor said in the last appointment that the baby is growing at an average rate and he was 4lbs and 1 ounce at the time of the sonogram 4 days ago. This is great since babies grow almost a pound a week in their final few weeks of birth. So im expecting the baby to be anywhere from high 7's to high 8 pounds. So guys, lets get fraggin cause in about 7 weeks i will be lost to fatherhood!! O man what have I got myself into?????? O yea Wendy is in the process of finding a middle name for him. Since i named him after me (Raymond), she gets the middle name. Well Ladies and Gents. There should be one more post by me in this thread that has to do with baby information. Actually thats not totally true as i will flood this thread with pics and what not Oh yea and the pic in my avatar is my son at 14 weeks old. That was the first and best sonogram of him that i got. He must be so much bigger by now....

awww. sounds good so far bro. and the fact that he kicked you in the mouth means he seems to be a smart and sensible kid as well. his instinct is strong!! LOL

Hey Murd,
glad that the placenta moved out of the way cuz it might cause complications during birth. C-Section isnt that big of a deal tho. I had an emergency c-section when my daughter was born. I was in labour for 22 hours (last 4 hours contractions every 2 mins ) and my body wasnt able to relax anymore because of the constant pain. I had an epidural but it didnt sedate my belly unfortunatly so i felt everything from the c-section. I can say that when they cut you it hurts much more than being in labour!! But no worries there for you guys

Anyway, be sure that all the pain you go through is forgotten immediatly after the baby is born. (i got home from hospital on thursday and on sunday we were talking about names for the 2nd one )

It's a wonderful experience. First the pregnancy, listening to the baby's heartbeat (which is BY FAR the most beautiful sound in the world ), then the excitement of when the baby will be born, how it will look like,... just amazing.

Cant believe i'll be going through it all again. I'm glad this gyneacologist gives me a chance to deliver the baby naturally. I changed right after my daughter was born. My former one wanted to have a planned c-section and didnt want to give a normal delivery a chance

Anyway, good luck the next month. It will be very exciting

When my babe had our 4th kid i picked her and the little one up from the hospital in a white limo. She was Shocked . she loved it...

Well the only thing right now is that the baby shower is next sunday. That's the next big event that has to do with baby and Wendy. Last second preparations and me running around and bustin my arse at work is the only other thing i can think of lol.

Man i keep forgetting I have this thread up and running!!! Being that I am running around like a headless chicken trying to get everything prepared for the baby makes me forget alot of other things. But anyways, the baby's due date is Aug. 4th to refesh memories and i am just on edge everyday since July 4th. Why? Because Wendy has had contractions starting July 4th every 2 to 3 hours. Though they are prolly Braxton Hicks contractions, i never know when that boy will be wanting to come out. As of now, Wendy is 3 and a half centimeters open, maybe 4.

I am just trying to maintain and work my butt off saving some $$ for the baby's needs, but it seems like the bills are growing too and that makes it impossible for me to save anything since Wendy went on Maternity leave 3 weeks earlier than expected. So i am the only provider right now and after that $3600 baby shower i threw for her back on July 1st, I havent fully recovered from that financial blow. We did however, get a few nice gifts from family and friends

I also had to move my whole computer desk and computer to the living room to make space for the baby's crib. I can never get used to being so out in the open while on the computer. No more yelling over teamspeak or those accidental sites i sometimes click on..............
My connection actually got alot worse too as I am frequently losing connect on and off throught the day. Maybe its the computer God letting me know that soon it will be permanent after the baby is born.....

So thats the july story in a nutshell and im just on nerves end everytime i am at work, expecting that phone call of "ITS TIME!!!"

The baby can be born anytime from now till Aug 4th, but i really don't think he will make it till aug. I have been saying this now since the beginning of july, lol. I guess my next post will be about the baby's length and weight

Sounds like the time is deftinely near. Sounds like you're well prepared too, well at least for the reality of it all. And if your next post is about the babys length and weight you better have some pics of you holding it too!!

I can imagine we'll be seeing less of you once the baby initially arrives.. but don't let the computer gods stop you from popping in every now and then. Just wouldn't be the same without the occasional Murd post in the "Pick one Post one" thread or the "My Special Poem" (aka limerick) thread ..besides, you don't want your baby growing up thinking daddy can't defend his highscores on TSU forums

btw, computer in the living room? I guess that means no more TY BRUTUS
