If it is still hurting, then try to take another x-ray so you'll know
if what exactly treatment of your shoulder needs, better to give it early serious attention to get good treatment before it's too late.
having bone fractures that aren't treated, will gives you badhealth in future.Don't wait that to happen

this happen when i was in grade 7. and im in grade 10 now. and im not worryed. i couldnt give a damn what happens.

All I'm saying is that it's highly unlikely that he has a dislocated shoulder. That hurts like hell... and it's unlikely he'd be able to move a lot.

My dad had most of his fingers broken when he was a kid that didn't heal well. Now he can't fully extend some of them.

And yea, getting another X-ray of your arm would be a good idea if it hurts. But consult with the doctor before that and have him check out your shoulder well before that because any dose of x-rays isn't good for the body. (If you want me to go into details about how x-rays do damage, I can write a 30 minute post about it.)

He got his x-ray been awhile...so then to have another x-ray after past few years didnt give you any bad damages to your health, yeah radiation of x-ray is bad if this happen having offten exposing to the machine. But ofcourse doctors wont prescribe you to take x-ray for 5 times a day. You need to visit
chiropractor for any misalignment bone problem, They have to check it and they will tell you if your bone need to replace or they can do something to fix it. But honestly give attention to it before it's too late. Because the more you getting old the more you feel worse pain to it.

Mystica is right.. and you are correct. You definitley want to have this looked at ASAP. It could be after they do an X-ray of it, that they say it looks alright and there is nothing that they can do. In which case, if it still makes that popping noise and/ or feels uncomfortable in ANY WAY, not just as in pain, but in ANY WAY, then you should make a trip to the chiropractic office. They have helped me alot.

I have had many falls/ throws from horses but I never had anything broken, though my lower back.. something happened there when my horse decided he was scared of the barrels on either side of the jump (that we were supposed to jump over) and stopped dead about 5 feet infront of them and threw me off and I landed on TOP of the wooden beams that he was supposed to jum over.

But what happened 3 yrs ago was much worse. I was working on the roof of my Mom's trailer at the Lake.. I was Retarring it. I finished retarring it stepped onto the ladder and started coming down. On about the second step down the ladder started slipping out and I fell (the ladder was on the wooden porch, and I hadn't locked it into place by putting a rock or something under one of the feet at least , which I usually do...sigh). My legs were all tangled up in the rungs of the ladder as I fell.. and I hit my head twice on the railings of the porch and then hit hard on the wooden porch itself. Well I had a concussion but what is worse is my neck.. I couldnt turn my head or anything... and its still messed up. Actually I couldnt move for a bit.. thought I was gonna be in really BAD shape so I was relieved ..eh. I looked like a neanderthal for a few days with my forehead all swollen and 2 inches out from my face and black and blue. Got X-rays on my arm.. which had a very large circle bruise around the elbow that I had landed on .. had to take medicine to reduce swelling for that for about a year. Anyway. There is nohting they can do for my neck ; now the spine is straight instead of curved as its supposed to be in your neck. So finally when it was just so bad and so painful I went to a chirpractor.. he pops it into place, and I had to go for about a year that first time.. and now I still have to go about for 2-3 months ... and this happens about every year and a half and then I am fine for quite awhile, thank God. Obviously if I didn't have the chiropractor I'd have to be getting some kind of surgery done.. which in my case definitley isn't guaranteed to help because back/ and spinal injuries they are not so good at :S(yet).

So I definitely think getting X-Rays in your case is a necessity. If your going to live on this Earth.. why live it in (stupid) pain? Get done what you can now.. the sooner the better. At your age someof your bones/ cartilege have not hardened up all the way yet. So if you get stuff done to fix it now, there is a better chance that it will heal faster and better becasue your body is better at mending itself now. Plus you'll have plenty of time to fall off roofs, get thrown off horses, maybe do some race-car driving and in general, be healthier so you can have other f-ups while still thinking you are invincible when you get older, like me

damn..im sorry to hear that...that sucks...well im glad that ur ok for awhile..and at least u got buddy to pop it back into place lol..-shivers- ugh.

and yeah..ill see if i can get X-rays

seriously... just do it. you'll regret it later (perhaps years but you will)...and well... so will we cause we'll have to listen you get all pissy that your arm hurts and shoulda have gotten it fixed right at the time. lol . (And yes, to be clear, I'm saying that for your best... I've had too many experience with injuries -- I was a pretty hardcore sk8er back in the day -- to say otherwise. )
