How do you upload or attach a pic?

There are several ways...

Quickest way....
Click POST REPLY. from there just click MANAGE ATTACHMENTS and upload a file/image from your harddrive or from another website.

this is good cause that means your photo will be automatically resized and matched to teh board, and is not dependent on the remote site to be up or down.
Preferred method: upload to the PHOTO GALLERY first (click upload).
then copy the provide [ img ]your image url [ / img] link inot your post. This serves two purposes.... A) you image will be in the gallery for browsing and you can even use this as a sort of image hosting service (you can use that link on other websites even by copying the < url > your image url</ url>, this is also, good for promotion, sharing or having it crawled by search engines; AND you wil have your image posted in this thread.
hotlink in from another image host... like imageshack or photobucket or you own website.

all work and are great ways to show your artwork. so let's see what you got!!

Well, I have to say I don't have a creative bone in my body when it comes to drawing, sketching, painting etc.....Only thing I can try to get good at is photoshop

I used ot do computer artwork back when I was a teenager.. but Ihaven't done any art in a while... maybe I could try to dig some stuff up and/or workon some stuff if I feel inspired

Here is something I did when I first started doing Raku pottery. I do ceramics.. Or any ohter medium that can be sculptural (3d). This is one I eventally called my "turtle". You'll see why

I remember people mentioning terragon on our old boards. seems even more impressive now than it did then.

just incredible how realistic it is...esp the water. I'd love to see more.

is it hard to learn?

Its easy enough to learn, I learned just by messing about with it but you can find tuts and Downloads etc here http://www.planetside.co.uk/terragen/
