Official PC Requirements for Unreal Tournament 3 Released

FINALLYYY!!! Midway and Epic gave an Official press release for the minimum and recommended PC system requirements for the PC version of Unreal Tournament 3 along with a couple new UT3 images.

We posted the suggested UT3 computer spec requirements from a UT pro player's tests a while back, but now its the official ones, so.... HERE THEY ARE:

Unreal Tournament 3 (PC version) system requirements.
is your system up to snuff?

Minimum System Requirements

* Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista
* 2.0+ GHZ Single Core Processor
* 512 Mbytes of System RAM
* NVIDIA 6200+ or ATI Radeon 9600+ Video Card
* 8 GB of Free Hard Drive Space

Recommended System Requirements

* 2.4+ GHZ Dual Core Processor
* 1 GBytes of System RAM
* NVIDIA 7800GTX+ or ATI x1300+ Video Card
* 8 GB of Free Hard Drive Space

Hello people at Unreal Addicts Forum!!

I have been to ask you if my system specs are of any good to run Unreal 3K. I am a fan of Unreal since the very first one, and i wouldn´t like to put this one on the side...

AMD FX-57 @ 2.8 Ghz
Nvidia Geforce 7900 GTX 512 mb
Kingston 2gb´s DDR (DC)

Thank you for the reply. I´m more relieved.

The only question floating on my mind is that the recomended specs refer to a dual core cpu...since my FX-57 is a single core do you think that it would make any complications on running UT3K smoothly?

A frind of mine told me that the cpu speed is not an issue here but the cache is...well...the FX-57 has 1mb L2 cache, what do you make of this?

So far what i´ve seen this is a title i want (defenetly) to run on high quality...do you really think this is possible with my rig?

Please forgive so many questions......but it worries me the possibility of not running this masterpice...and i want to play it so bad
