Official PC Requirements for Unreal Tournament 3 Released

FINALLYYY!!! Midway and Epic gave an Official press release for the minimum and recommended PC system requirements for the PC version of Unreal Tournament 3 along with a couple new UT3 images.

We posted the suggested UT3 computer spec requirements from a UT pro player's tests a while back, but now its the official ones, so.... HERE THEY ARE:

Unreal Tournament 3 (PC version) system requirements.
is your system up to snuff?

Minimum System Requirements

* Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista
* 2.0+ GHZ Single Core Processor
* 512 Mbytes of System RAM
* NVIDIA 6200+ or ATI Radeon 9600+ Video Card
* 8 GB of Free Hard Drive Space

Recommended System Requirements

* 2.4+ GHZ Dual Core Processor
* 1 GBytes of System RAM
* NVIDIA 7800GTX+ or ATI x1300+ Video Card
* 8 GB of Free Hard Drive Space

They also sent out a couple of new images with the press release.

SP2 is a requirement for all things XP. simply for XPs sake more so than UT. secruity and bug fixes etc.

I would think a 1MB L2 cache would be enough cache but I don't think that's entirely why they mention dual core as being the best recommendation although it is part of it.

I would just try it and see. And if it's not enough try upgrading your graphics card first if you already have PCI-E 16x (not AGP)

If you are running AGP I would upgrade the whole thing. lol. :-)

Sweeeet i strated one at my dads it was pretty cool i love the movie clips..i just wish the game itself was that good of graphics
