this is when you have a team and you go against other teams your wins and loses are kept track off if you win for example you climb up challaging the higer teams where as if you lose you go down a notch its very competitive

There are usualy some kind of set rules ie no power ups and in tourny mode another example is say at the time of the match your team is missing members but the other team is complete your team gets the lose, each teamis also responsiable for informinf the ladders admins about the winning or losing of a match.

I haven't been in a ladder match since my USA days (unreal sniper addicts) but it was fun
