So what's up all?? I know I haven't updated anything in about a month, but now I am officially back online and ready to fill you in on more info.


So Friday, March 2nd, Wendy had an appointment for the second ultrasound. But before that date(actually a few weeks before March 2nd) Blood work was done and a sonogram that determined that right now The placenta is placenta prybia(spelling). This means that the placenta is somewhat covering the cervix. It's not a major problem yet because Wendy is only 18 weeks now and it's still early in the pregnancy.


Fast foward now to March 2nd. We are at the second ultrasound appointment and the doctor asked if we would like to know the baby's sex. Originally we decided on finding out at the time of the birth, but i guess with everyone we know asking what it is and that we should know, we finally caved in to find out. So as the doctor is showing us the baby, i finally found out what the baby will be as he told us............














So anyway the doctor said we will have to go for a 3rd ultrasound appointment in 3 weeks to see if the placenta moves from its spot to the normal position (i know i know you want to know the sex of the baby lol be patient) He said that he doubts it would in 3 weeks but by the 30 week mark it should be in the normal position. But if not by then, most likely it won't in which case the doctors will have to deliver the baby by C-section. The reason for this is because if Wendy is still Placenta Prybia, it would block the cervix and the path of the baby to come out and the baby would rupture the placenta as it moves to position to be delivered. This would cause major bleeding and both the baby and/ or Wendy could die in the worse case scenario. So C- Section would be the only way to deliver the baby if the placenta doesn't return to its normal position. So please pray that it does cause I don't want the C-Section way for her cause I hear its extremely painful even long after birth.
